Sudoh Party. 5805 Unit, Southern Dispatch' to 'Seihachi Ohshiro, Nakase, Nakase Village, Hamana-Gun, Shizuoka Prefecture’. Military postcard censored by ‘Sudoh' in boxed ‘Censored’ with 'Commandant' mark. The ‘Southern Dispatch' was used from December 1941 to summer of 1942. ‘5805 Unit' meant Railway 9th Regiment which served to construct Thai-Burma Railway from June 1942 to Nov. 1943. So this p.c was dispatched from Thailand or Burma in summer 1942 and reads '…Thank you for your telegraph. I'm fine and serving well…”.
