Registered letter to a famour stamp dealer, Gebrüder Senf in Leipzig, from the Banque Imperiale Ottomane / Damas, franked with 5 p lilac-brown (2x), 10 p green, 20 p red and 1 p deep blue, all of Abrogation of the Capitualtions overprints, tied by four strikes of bilingual ”DAMAS, 4-11-14”, with boxed ”R”, m/s ”862§ and Damas underneath, at reverse similar type BEYROUTH 8-11-14 transit. This is a fine pieve from the beginning of the end of the Ottoman Empire.
