1870, King Luis I perforated 80 Reis horizontal pair with wide left sheet margin on pre-UPU overseas letter from Lisbon with numeral strike 1 via Liverpool and New York to Burlington, Vermont, USA, due to the fact that the postmark ”New York paid all” was not legible, 5 Cent postage due were charged, despite slight complaints an extremely attractive and rare piece. 1870, König Luis I gezähnt 80 Reis waagerechtes Paar mit breitem linken Bogenrand auf vor-UPU-Überseebrief aus Lissabon mit Nummernstempel 1 via Liverpool und New York nach Burlington, Vermont, USA, da der Stempel ”New York paid all” nicht leserlich war, wurden 5 Cent Nachporto erhoben, trotz leichter Beanstandungen ein ausgeprochen attraktives und seltenes Stück.
