Official envelope ("British Antarctic Expedition 1907") bearing stamps and postmarks from different expeditions starting with stamp of King Edward VII Land SG No.1 cancelled Brit.Antarctic Exp. dated MY 4, 1909, Victoria Land No.A3 dated MR 3 1912 and Victoria Land No. A3 dated FE 4 1913. Also Charles Dickens Centenary label on envelope, double ring pmk "Loose Ship Letter S.Y. Aurora" incl. signature of the commander of the ship J.K. Davis. Interesting piece of postal history with some blemishes eg. staining around label but still very scarce!

Offizieller Umschlag ("British Antarctic Expedition 1907") mit Briefmarken und Stempeln verschiedener Expeditionen, beginnend mit Briefmarke von King Edward VII-Land SG No.1, entwertet "Brit.Antarctic Expd. / MY 4 09", dann Victorialand SG No.A3 mit Stempel vom 3.3.1912 sowie Victorialand No. A 3 mit Stempel vom 4.2.13. Außerdem Charles Dickens Centenary Label auf Umschlag, Doppelring-Motivstempel "Loose Ship Letter S.Y. Aurora" inkl. Unterschrift des Kommandanten des Schiffes J.K. Davis. Interessantes Stück Postgeschichte mit einigen Schönheitsfehlern wie z.B. Flecken um den Aufkleber, aber immer noch sehr selten!

1911, Fotokarte des Expeditionsschiffs "Deutschland" mit Vignette und Stempel "Polarschiff Deutschland / Süd Georgien / Grytviken / 10. Dezember 1911", frankiert mit Falkland-Inseln 1 d rotorange, nach Berlin. Seltener Beleg in einwandfreier Erhaltung.

BRITISH ANTARCTIC EXPEDITION (Scott). Official envelope of the expedition ship Terra Nova bearing Victoria Land SG No. A3 cancelled Brit.Antarctic Exp. dated FE 9 1911 and also the double ring pmk "Loose Ship`s Letter/S.Y. Aurora" (Australia`s first Antarctic mail ship) and signed by the captain J.K. Davis. This was the expedition of which Scott unfortunately never returned alive. On FE 4 1913 the same envelope was also franked with a pair of the half penny green of Victoria Land SG No. A2. This expedition took place from June 1 1910 to June 14 1913. Very rare collectors item in very fine condition (The two stamps Victoria Land Mi.Nr.1 cat. value 2000 Euros alone).
1913, BRITISCHE ANTARKTIS-EXPEDITION (Scott). Offizieller Umschlag des Expeditionsschiffes Terra Nova mit Victoria-Land SG Nr. A3 entwertet "Brit. Antarctic Expd. / FE 9 1911", neben gesetzt Motivstempel "Loose Ship`s Letter / S.Y. Aurora" (Australiens erstes Antarktis-Postschiff), unterschrieben vom Kapitän J. K. Davis. Dies war die Expedition, von der Scott 1912 leider nicht mehr lebend zurückkehrte. 1913 wurde derselbe Umschlag auch mit einem Paar der grünen Halbpfennigmarke von Victoria Land SG Nr. A2 frankiert und entwertet "BRIT. ANTARCTIC EXPD. / FE 4 13". Die Expedition dauerte vom 1. Juni 1910 bis zum 14. Juni 1913 statt. Sehr schönes Sammlerstück in sehr guter Erhaltung (Die beiden Briefmarken Victoria Land Mi.-Nr.1 Kat. Wert allein 2000 Euro).

1935, BYRD ANTARCTIC EXPEDITION, grosser Sonderstempel in grün auf Brief mit offiziellem Aufdruck "Off. Abreise S.S. Jacob Ruppert zurück nach Little America". Unten "Dieser Umschlag ist Nr. 3 von insgesamt 50 existierenden", frankiert mit einer neuseeländischen Briefmarke und gesendet in die USA.

Airmail cover with Chilenian stamps dated FEB 12, First Flight to the Antarctic showing red WILKENS/Deception Island/EXPEDITION (belongs today to the Falkland Islands) with ms "Hubert Wilkens March 1929". Postmarked upon arrival Valparaiso Feb 15. Plus a photocopied letter from July 1928
1929, WILKINS ANTARKTISFLUG. Luftpostbeleg mit chilenischen Briefmarken vom 12. FEB, erster Flug in die Antarktis, mit Schreibmaschinentext in rot "WILKINS/Deception Island/EXPEDITION" (gehört heute zu den Falklandinseln), handschriftlich "Hubert Wilkins March 1929". Abgestempelt bei Ankunft in Valparaiso am 15. Februar 1929. Dazu ein fotokopierter Brief vom Juli 1928.
