There are many modified postmarks of the German colonial era such as Bethanien, Kolmannskuppe, Maltahöhe and Outjo on complete letters, but also some early airmail covers with airmail postmarks from Marienthal, Otjiwarongo and Walvis Bay further other features distinguish this collection. Es finden sich etliche aptierte Stempel der Kolonialzeit wie Bethanien, Kolmannskuppe, Maltahöhe und Outjo auf kompletten Briefen, aber auch einige frühe Flugpostbelege mit Luftpoststempel Marienthal, Otjiwarongo und Walvis Bay, aber auch weitere Besonderheiten zeichnen diese Sammlung aus.
