ADDITIONAL ”1d” SURCHARGE ON PREVIOUS ISSUE. 1 on 2d on 20pf and Marshall Islands 1 on 2d on 20pf pair (S.G. 32, 64), Setting II, position 10 and Setting II, positions 1-2, tied by ”Rabaul, New Britain / Jan 7 1915” oval d.s. in violet on local registered envelope, with surcharged 3d Rabaul (Deutsch-Guinea) No. 420 registration label (33d) similarly tied on reverse, Very Fine, an extraordinary mixed franking with the two rare Provisional surcharches of the value on New Guinea and Marshall Islands.
